White Moon Black Sky (Little B’s Poem)

Little B, alone in the park
Buttoned up, collars high
As autumn leaves go – tumbling by
And two tiny birds search –
for some food on the ground and she prays
To know love’s joy and mystery

Snow, it falls, it’s chill robs her hope
See white moon, black sky
And Little B wait for the day,
She’ll play lover’s games
He loves me, he loves me not
It’s funny, lovers are everywhere –evenmore

Seasons change, and things look diff ‘rent
Tulips bloom, hope grows
As dragonflies go – zooming by
So today Little B throws her wish
at skies blue, and uncloses
Her heart ready for love’s embrace-evermore.
